Zoning plan change in the Hooloo/Hinderi Laufferstaag area and amendment of the Building and Zoning Regulations (gravel extraction)
This information is written to be as neutral as possible. I personally support the proposal, but I hope my opinion did not influence how this page is structured. For transparency, I’m mentioning it here.
This is a collection of official contributions regarding the municipal vote on 28 September 2025 in Beringen. To stay objective, I’m not adding my personal opinion here.

There were 3 abstentions, and 2 members of the Residents' Council recused themselves due to a conflict of interest.

The FDP abstained during the Residents' Council meeting, but now supports the proposal. The SP members were split during the meeting; afterwards the party decided to support the referendum.

The “Yes” campaign is significantly supported by the future gravel pit operator.
